The unit is a bit pricey (as is with any RC vehicle), but the replacement parts are surprisingly affordable. Not bad.

    Warning

Be warned. I bought a parrot for my son for Christmas. After setting it up and testing it in the house we took it outside. When it was turned on it rose up to about 10 ft off the groud and set ther for 30 to 40 seconds. Then it shot up to about 150 ft then dropped down to rooftop level where it headed to the end of our street about a quater mile away. It set there for about 10 seconds then shot straight up out of sight never to be seen again. We searched for days. A quick but exciting way to blow $375.00

Tried contacting Parrot directly about the issue?
