Hey, I've been having a problem with my Paypal account for the last week. I can log in fine and do whatever I need to do when I log in by going to the site, but when I try to log in when I'm redirected from a site such as Newegg in order to complete payment for something it goes like this:
    - Enter email/password
    - Security questions
    - It says I timed out, takes me back to log-in page
    - Enter email/password again
    - "Your identity could not be verified. Please contact Customer Service at the telephone number below so that we may assist you with your password."
    - Go back to log in, enter info, get that ^^ message again.

I've called the number, but it's just telling me stupid things like oh you might have caps lock on or something. Odameyer said something about having to enter a confirmed CC number, but I've been using this account for years and have never had this problem. As I said, I only get this when trying to pay for something via paypal and can log in by just going to the site. Without fixing this problem I won't be able to buy anything, so has anyone else had this problem? Whatta I do?

Not much you can do, if it's related to the bug that I think it is.

Customers trying to use Paypal at our store were having the same problems last Friday. After hours of checking out our code and several calls to our Paypal rep we finally got an answer from one of their techs -- Paypal bug. There's a temporary fix, but it must be implemented by the store.
