PayPal has announced that in addition to paying the affected states $1.7 million as settlement, they will revise the way they notify PayPal users of their online rights. PayPal has already implemented most of the changes, some of which include clarifying buyer protections and shortening the EULA. PayPal agreed to settle after two lawsuits lost the company several million dollars. The states who sued PayPal are Alabama, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia.

I use paypal for ebay. I make alot off of it, but the stupid charges are really a pain in the neck.. I insist that my buyers DO NOT pay by online credit card, and they do it anyway..
