Pc doesn't turn off 100% (asus maximus vii ranger)

I noticed yesterday when i have shut down my pc with a asus maximus vii ranger z97 mb, that it doesn't shut down 100% i by acident touched my mouse and then there was light on my mouse took some usb cables out and back again and then there was light on my keyboard also noticed there was light on the i/o panel (ethernet).

Looked in the bios and coludn't find something to turn of or on, any surgestions?

most boards still give power when off usually for power on device with in bios

its normal just turn off psu switch when system is off

The PSU/mobo can provide a few 5-volt watts to USB devices after turning off -- for power-on-by-kb and device charging. The main CPU is off, so the computer itself is off. I'm pretty sure my mouse doesn't stay lit though (but it happens when I shut down from Linux).

ASUS motherboards tends to have a BIOS setting for disabling USB charging when the computer is off. It uses the +5v standby rail to let you charge things like a tablet or a cell phone. Older motherboards that first supported this had a jumper on the motherboard to switch it but, your motherboard should be new enough where it should be an option in the BIOS. It is for mine. If I don't turn it off, the same thing happens with the backlight on my keyboard.
