I tested my Phenom 9850 via Prime 95 and after one hour of testing my PC was restarted. Cores temps reached 59C max, procesor temp 53C max. Is this normal?

I'll take a guess and say ya that's about right. Amd's run hotter than intels usually, I think. I'm not sure about it but usually anything pushing 70-80c is getting really rough for CPU temp's and you could find a better cooling solution.

GPU's can be pushed a bit more. I had an ATI card cranking at redline levels all the time around 81C and it's still running strong.

Temps are not high. I would guess that restart was because of some thing else like PSU, mem or mobo.

It seems PSU issue to me. Check your RAM too. It better to run memtest.
