oh..well..I hope AMD plans things out well and got a sneek peak of the penryns. I hear the penryns are supposed to be at least 40% better than current intel chips. Of course, AMD makes the same claim as well. I believe I Saw that in the MaximumPC issue, June.

The only 40% figure I heard was with experimental SSE4 support in DivX. Not sure how much faster it'll be in other situations, it won't go down easily though. And seeing how AMD has nothing to show I really have my doubts about AMD's new CPU's.

::nod Dan:: As much as Im a fanboy, I just dont see AMD killing the penryns. I do hope they are better than the C2D and quads from Intel, but thats just hoping. I really cant wait for them to be out and benches ran. Even if I dont ever get the highest end ones, just wanna know what performance Ill be buying ya know?
