Lot of old classics :) Just played couple of rounds in Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES) and it worked pretty good.

Aye. This is why we have ROMs.

And anyway, how is the legality of ROMs now? And given how you can buy lots of the games for the consoles...

    BTW, y'all should play this.

Honestly, it's one of the top three games ever made, all categories.

This is nice, and simple way of doing ROMS without having to actually do the ROMS locally.

Now if I could figure out why full screen goes grey and shows nothing.

Ti-99 That takes me back to my C-64 days. F-15 Strike Eagle, The Dark Tower, Colonial Conquest. I didn't have a lot of games then but I played the hell out of the ones I had.

I had a console that played pong, then the Atari 2600 and finally the Sega Genesis. The Sega was my last console...as soon as I discovered playing games on the pc I was hooked.

My favorite console game was the mega man series.

    Best,

    LC

I spent many hours on the Atari 2600 mostly playing Space Invaders and Asteroids.

That's one aspect of old school gaming that sums it up well. You couldn't afford a ton of games, so you appreciated the ones you had.
I was playing Track and Field a minute ago from the NES days and I remember how much we wore out those controllers doing the 100m sprint by furiously tapping the A button. We used to hold sixteen way bracket tournaments for the neighborhood kids.

I take it you've got a Ti 99 emulator? There's one that works pretty well, and you can get all the old ROMs. Carfax Abbey was my favorite game, but Barrage was good too.
