Ok, i've narrowed my search down to these two power supplies, both cost the same after vat & postage and their specs are more or less the same.
What would you guys go for and why? Anybody here have either of these two that could post experiences with them.

    Thermaltake Toughpower 850w

    Ocz GameXtreme 850w

I'm currently leaning towards the Thermaltake, i like the chrome finish:D and that its modular, although i'm not to bothered about that tbh.

What are you trying to power with those Power Supplies.
If its not 2 8800GTXs in SLI, then you are wasting your money.

If thats the case than look at the Corsair HX 620W PSU.
Its the best PSU out right now and the most reliable (as well as modular).
This PSU can even power 8800GTXs in SLI (unless you have 2 AMD FX-72s).

I know it seems a bit overkill but i'd like to future proof myself while i can.
Maybe not 2 8800's but ati's new offerings ,once they come out and we've seen true gaming performance, could be tempting. Plus there's also the oppotunity to go quad core if i do.
Had a look at the Corsair and its only a few £'s cheaper than the one's i've selected!

I would still suggest the Corsair b/c it is the best available and they rated their PSU at constant watts supplied (not max watts supplied, like what most other manufacturers do).
I would say go with the Corsair HX620W b/c it is the best PSU out at the moment and will be able to power the ATI cards as well.

Take a look at these reviews.
He does very thourough testing and does the best PSU reviews.

Take a look at a review here: http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=32
