What kind of flickers do you get? Stuttering? Artifacting? Short black screens?

Then I think the chance is high you wrecked something on your card when you played around with the BIOS file the first time. Most likely the mem didn't like the voltage.

So it's a goner then?
I didn't mess around with the memory voltage just the core voltage!

Either way, I'd check with the store by now. You're supposed to be able to run that card at its rated speed and it doesn't.

sounds like one of your memory chips was barely binned working... something probably gave it the rest, can be heat and bad timing, for example;)
i would try to RMA it, if it carries the right bios again

Damn!
They wouldn't RMA where I live.

But it's my fault right?
they wouldn't know?

I wouldn't mention your flashing problems to the retailer, just say it's not working correctly.

Personally I just chuck away stuff I wreck, but that's a moral thing. I believe I know what I'm doing, so when I screw it up, it's my own damn fault.

if you flash a similar powercolor BIOS, they shouldn't really notice the difference, but it is still a risk as it may different BIOS version.

personally i wouldn't do it as it was really your fault

it was probably your fault, even tho, your card was probably also not in perfect working condition.
tho, if you reflashed the correct bios again, and didnt damaged the card externally, they probably would RMA it.
Im not familiar with Powercolors policy regarding that, that differs from Manufacturer to Manufacturer. I always was able to return my cards for RMA, even if i accidently killed them.
If your Retailer does not offers any RMA rights, at least Powercolor themselves should;)

Sapphire cards, indeed, cards produced by any manufacturer, are equally prone to user error/insufficent prior research if and when you start fiddling.

If you are experiencing no problems with the onboard sound, I'd invest your money elsewhere.

you got a professional Bake Soldering Machine, and a couple of spare Memory ICs around?:)
Not?
then i guess, only powercolor themselves can do something about your current situation ;-)

only chance: try to completly driver sweep the ATI driver, and then to reinstall it. if that doesnt work.. youre probably out of chances, besides, as i said, powercolor
