5570 is NOT going to run any dx10/11 games
it just does not have the power its not a gaming card

It DOES Run Dirt 2 and other non-intensive dx11 games

I even ran the Unigine heaven benchmark and it got an average of 18 fps WITH tesselation!
on 1280x1024.

(not bad for a card with a $80 price tag)

I used to overclock it to 870 Mhz!!!!

I would like to do so... but really, do you think you are so experienced, that you begin to voltmod it, if you dont even know a bit about even its architecture, nor anything about it in general?

i wouldnt voltmod a card, until you got hold of another... it may be fun as an experiment, but only, as long as you can live, with maybe destroying it

Why? Theres no point, you are going to the EXTREME levels on a lower / mid range card, the gain you will get when you voltmod the 5770 will probably net you 1 fps more in a game, and cause a shedload more heat.

ANd as said, without aftermarket cooling, your going to blow up the card.

if you get yourself a new card, i will be glad to help you destroy the 5570,due to vmodding it, and make a few interesting benchies with it

just be sure to get you a soldering iron, a steady hand, and couple of different turnpots

How do i get a VGA block?
Or can I use an aftermarket vga air cooler?
I have experience in soldering (my uncle taught me alot :rockout:

)

If your voltmodding a throaway card i wouldnt waste money on a WC block or aftermarket cooling, as no1 here is expecting this card to last very long once its modded..

I've never had a problem with a processor as far as I'm aware.

Cept one DOA 955 but that was second hand and shipped from the states.

By the way, you may not be used to forums but the edit button is easy to use, just after you make a post if you feel you need to say more, go back to that post and hit the edit button

Just be concious that the feature is there and you quickly get into the habit ^_^

By the by, I think Alpenfóhn heidi would fit your card , this is it on a 5670 so perhaps a 5570 would work too XD

Well if they're not for sale in Egypt I can get them fairly cheap so getting one to you would cost it's normal price. Pays to shop around though

It does come with ram heat sinks ( a lot of them actually 14 I think) and as bo$$ said as long as you attach a fan you should be golden in terms of cooling : ]

it's not quite as big as a CPU cooler but could probably be used for one : ]

rotated the cpu cooler since then so airflow is vertical in my case.
