    well i got a P4 640 90nm prescott with a GB P35 DS3L and promptly tried to kill it


    took DICE and -30C just to get 4.6ghz :shadedshu

    ram really isn't the issue but the board sucks you may get to see the chip on a tpower i45 shortly

    I should have got one of those 65nm one's i saw going for £30. I'm so stupid. Shame that only got 4.6

    looking around 5ghz takes some ungodly amounts of voltages and this board maxes at 1.9v with the huge amount of droop it has

    Thats crap does it have Load line calibration or anything like that ?

    I think I'm definately going to get one of those for this p5q and see how far it goes if I can get money.

    The 65nm Cedarmills were the best, got my old 631 to 5G's 1.55v on air.
    Shame i killed it trying to get ihs off :cry:

    yes i know the e2200 beats it that wasn't the point of this at all all i wanted to do was push ungodly amounts of voltage through the chip :p

    If you just want a cpu to push to the limit, try a celeron 352 I had one that hit over 5ghz w/o even trying. I bet you could get it even higher than that.
