Power cooling front fan hookup?

    Power cooling front fan hookup?Bought one of the little 80 mm blue led fans,it has a small plug that connects to a larger adapter,can i plug this directly to my power source?

    some of the molex connectors will say "fan only" on them, look for those

    If the adapter that came with it is converts to the type that comes off your power supply it should work fine.

    If it goes a million miles an hour and explodes, send it back. :D

    You can plug it directly into a motherboard System Fan Header as long as the pins match up(4 pin on fan to 3pin on mobo will have to line up properly in order to work) other than that use the Molex adapter.
