Power problem!!!

    Hi, wondered if anyone could help, I've built up a pc, and when i turn it on to boot it up, power is coming on cpu fan etc starts up but after about 30 secs it stops again, any ideas? ive checked all connections etc

    unplug the power cord and take out the cmos battery and wait 10mins, then place the cmos battery back and plug the power cord back.

    i removed cmos battery as you said and waited for ten mins before putting it back in but getting same problem, any other suggestions?

    Could be the PSU is underpowered for your system, something is loose, dust or debris is in a connection, or your PSU is faulty.

    one difference after removing cmos battery is that as soon as i connect the power cord the pc starts up??

    thats just a default power feature in the bios...

    I've changed over PSU and still having same problems.

    Check the mobo manuel to insure that the mobo jumpers are in the correct configuration for that setup and that all jumpers are present.(theve been known to fall off during shipping and handeling!)

    to be honest, i don't get what you mean. Does it boot past post or does it just boot no post and then shuts off? if it boot past post were does it get to before shutting off?

    When i connect the power it will start up cpu fan will start up but after 30 seconds everything stops, ive changed psu but im still getting same problem

    What’s your system specs? And do you hear any bios beeps?

    by the way welcome to, tpu sry it couldn't be under different circumstances
