I'll definately pray for your father, I hope everything goes well and a speedy recovery! My mother was invovled in a t-bone by a drunk driver over 10 years ago...she's okay now, but still get's shaken up when it's brought up. All I remember when I first heard was feeling my stomach drop to my feet, I'd just seen her 20 minutes before...things were inches from bad to worse in that accident...fortunately she made it okay.

Keep us posted man...damn drunk drivers...
    cdawall says thanks.

    Hope ur dad does alright.

Some drunks know not to drive, but some are just full of themselves and like being dicks. They're all over the news, it just makes me sick of what we live with in this world.

So glad to hear you dad is alright. It's unfortunate that it takes traumatic incidents like this for some (not saying you, cdawall) for people to truly appreciate how meaningful others are in their life.

It is infuriating that the "liquid courage" deludes people into thinking they are "o.k." to drive. They usually come out unscathed from the accidents they cause because they are so stinking loose at the moment of impact....frickin' drunks!
    cdawall says thanks.

Drunk drivers should be euthanized in the most inhumane way possible.

    There's no excuse for that.

Hope your dad gets better :/

cda, im really glad to see that your dad is up and alright.. and i hope all the best for a fast and speedy recovery. it sucks about drunks... most of the time they take the lives of other people while killing themselves.. let this be a lesson for every damn person on the forum not to drink and drive.

To be honest, if any of my friends drove drunk, I'd probably never talk to them again, and cut their brake lines or something.

It's an accident waiting to happen either way.

But really, why do people have the inability to drink responsibly? I'll never get it.
