saw it last night ...listed as a 24 hour sale ....i almost got two of them ....i would of tried tri crossfireX ....4870X2 connected to 2 of these bad babies ....but I dont have enough case room ...as it is when I get the other 4870X2 I will have to get creative with the HD thats in the way..(4xHD in raid0)takes up a bit of room in a midtower ...I know I am going to end up switch two my full tower.

I was thinking about a new case too. I think maybe a lian li full-atx case or a Silverstone.

Lots of people report crashes with this card (specific to the sapphire version.)

That's the card I have too. I agree with the cooler. It is excellent. With the fan turned to 65%, i never see temps above 50c.

Coolermaster has an awesome new case too. The 480 i think. Looks alot like a Silverstone or Lian Li but with more features.

That's interesting....i was having this happen to me yesterday. I attributed it to running F@Home. Haven't had any problems with it except for then.

it has to do with a power saving feature when not in 3d. The constant switching from 2d clocks to 3d clocks eventually causes BSODs. I don't know much about it, but I'd find a sapphire forum and read up on the issue before purchasing this.

The issue doesn't seem to effect everyone, so I'm still thinking of getting it. I have an 8800GT and mainly play left4dead, but I installed world at war and started thinking of upgrading after seeing the performance was less than perfect...

How does the COD4 engine feel with this thing? And does the very cool temperatures allow for a lot of overclocking?
