    No clue. Just get the G.skill, good stuff. The Corsair shit is always expensive.

    It's mostly due to brand name and if you look closely at the comparison, you will see that the Corsair's have tighter timings.

    k thanks guys but cja how big of a difference is the gskill: 5-5-5-15 to the corsair: 4-4-4-12 timings? anything that makes it worth $85 more?

    No, not at all. Actually, I owned the Gskills, and they are good for 1200 5-5-5-15, or 1000+ 4-4-4-12.

    I agree completely. Gskill is a great brand and you should have few to no problems with that RAM. :toast:

    Newegg does things like that quite a bit... I have seen OpenBox stuff that costs more than retail stuff..
