Problem!! HHD & MOBO Transport Speed!?

    i have a question,the mobo transport bus will affect the HHD data tansport speed?
    my mobo is msi gaming 5,hhd is wd 2Tx5 green.is that speed ok?
    by the way,what is the hhd wd green,blue,black,red means?

    GREEN: Energy saving drives (slower)
    BLUE: Consumer drives (normal speeds)
    BLACK: Performance drives (Fast)
    RED: NAS/enterprise drives (ment for 24/7 operation)
    PURPLE: Security drives (Ment for video feed and HD recording)

    so....the motherboard will not affect the data tansport speed?

    if your motherboard has a problem it could but theoretically your motherboard can handle more data I/O than those HDDs can.
