Problems with ATI 5650 GPU Tool

hey guys,

i have a sony vpceb1m1e Notebook with ati 5650 mobility radeon graphics. When i downloaded the gpu tool i was able to oc my memory from 450 to 600 mhz.

Now i have reinstalled my notebook with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and the gpu tool doesnt work anymore.

can anyone help me?

Try using a different program like Catalyst Control Center or MSI Afterburner.

how can i oc with ccc? I thought that the oc option is disabled or disappered with the new versions.

I cant use afterburner either. when i push the apply button, the mhz goes back to the factory setting.

most oc tools don't work on laptops, especially for the latest series that was just released a few months ago.

the funny thing is, that is the gpu tool worked yesterday. after clean upgrade to win 7 ultimate 64 bit it doesnt work anymore.

the amd cpu tool doesnt work either. cannot load kernel driver

problem solved. i used an older version of the amd tool and it works!!
