with the release of the BD I hope for a processor upgrade soon but not to bulldozer but from 965be to 1100t.

my guess is AMD will do what it has done forever when in trouble....slash prices.

So im hoping to see the new thubans hit $150 range and used thubans to hit $100 range...perfect!

it is a very competent chip, performs nearly as well as bulldozer and will just drop in my existing mobo so it's a win for me.

in reality tho the 965 be is quite capable and has given me no problems but to score better tech for pennies is too much of a temptation.

also wanted to add that while bd currently seems fail for desktops; from what i have seen the chip seems very happy in a business environment and can be scored for next to nothing.

if AMD is lucky and markets it right; i think they can get some "business" from small businesses.
