Hi everyone.
This is my new project development for the incoming times.
The Division is a new concept of flagship personal computer cases.
It divides the hole system into three parts,
The front designed to fulfill one 480 mm or 560 mm radiator plus two 5,25" drives on top of the rad,
The two 5,25" drive space is mean to fan controllers, also there is space for an slim drive mounted in vertical position as well as usb 2.0 ports ( for usb headsets and others that don´t require ultra speed) and 3.0 ports plus mic and phones jacks finishing the front with power and reset buttons.
The lower chamber is designed to accommodate pumps, rads up to 480 mm , tanks.
This is the primal section for the watercooling gear.
The central division is sub-divided in three parts.
The main section takes the motherboard system and the 2,5" ssd drives ( up to three 2,5" ssd´s),
The motherboard represents the second major feature, it transforms by turning 90 degrees and rising up to 90 mm ( in the first revision).
The second sub-division will take the 3,5" hdd up to eight or twelve, depending on the transformation system size, it also can take on a full size psu.
The third sub-division is the rear section of the mb and 3,5" parts,
Mean to one full size psu and one radiator up to 360 mm sided to the psu.
First revision measures point for 750 mm x 750 mm x 300 mm.
Ultra tower single system class tower and as the name says, Division is airflow division.
The third major feature is one platform multiple designs, i.e. one platform with all features and unique cases.
This project is a compilation of what I have learned so far since the 331 to the Reloaded and I am making for sell.
This thread is for the first prototype and it might take more time than I expect, my goal at this point is to make it with all features and without any flaws.
I have in mind one fourth major feature, "the LAN party feature", and I´m saving this to the end because I still need to develop one piece.
And now the 1:1 size cardboard model, generic style.
I made this template to serve as a generic model.
After I started to build the first real model.
Detail of bracket plate made in 4 mm aluminium with m3 thread.
Assembling the two parts.
Room for xl-atx board (345 mm x 263,5 mm).
M3 thread in pci-e holders.
All in.
There is a gap between the card and and the bracket holder,
I made it with five millimeters clearance for better installation of the cards, by this way the "dvi" port should not touch the bracket holder.
M3 thread in 4 mm thick aluminium sheet, not easy but possible.
The back showing space for ten card slots.
The half part of transform system, the turning.
That is all for now,
I hope you like my project and feel free to ask questions,
Thanks.
