Maybe I'm a little dull, but why is this good news?
How does getting the original name asset back make any differnce to the quality of the game?
Is calling it FEAR2 somhow going to make it better than calling it Project Origin?

    Just wondering.

i read that the original F.E.A.R. 2 would have allowed the player to enter a metaphysical dimension which enabled him to move through walls and attack enemies. it's funny, that IGN story is EXACTLY what one UK PC magazine predicted would happen

I think F.E.A.R. 2: PO, has great potential, the first is great(never finished it, starting a run through atm, and ive had the game for like 2 and a half years).

I'm looking forward to this one. FEAR is the only game that ever really scared me.

It scared alot of people. I was pretty cool about it though. I was scared when the invisible dudes popped out.

Meh, don't really care about the name, I just want to play the damn game. I guess the owners of the F.E.A.R name finally gave in and sold the name back to monolith, especially since their version of Fear sucked ass.

good news it better not suck. FEAR is one of the best shooters ever. XP was a good expansion to play right after but the third one was meh. or so i hear i never played it

looking forward to this with great anticipation. may get a 4850 to play it. prolly won't need one but its a good excuse to get one

if Far Cry 2 doesn't motivate me to get one first
