Well I might be needing to look for another heatsink again... I bought a megahalems from fadedmemories and he said he shipped it last thursday via USPS priority mail and still no package and no contact since saturday. I am getting worried, so if anyone has a cooler let me know if you want to sell it for a good price and maybe be able to hold it for me for a few more days to see if the one from fadedmemories gets here that would be cool. Thanks

I would also take a TRUE or a Mugen 2 as well if the price is right. I just need a cooler bad because I sold my xiggy and I am running on my backup P4 computer.

Friendly bump. You really should go with what I linked. It's really good and I wouldn't steer you wrong.

GL with the find boom. :)

Another day, no heat sink from fadedmemories :(

EDIT: Just got an email from him saying :"It should have arrived already, unless there is a huge delay."

Did he get Delivery Confirmation on it? I had a HDD sent to me with DC and the Post Office paid my seller for replacing the drive and refunded his shipping because they couldn't figure out what had happened to it.

Ask for delivery confirmation if he bought it, I always buy delivery confirmation on all my sent packages regardless of price.

It's pretty standard procedure for anything done online. I'd make sure you've got it from now on, even if you have to pay them an extra dollar (it's currently $.80).

If it is Priority mail insured, the post office can still track it, and he can still file a USPS claim on. Please tell me that you at least had it insured....if not you're screwed.

He said he got insurance but no tracking...

I couldn't have gotten anything else because I cleared out what was left in my paypal for it :(

Tell him to go to the Post Office and tell them what's happened.

He might've sent it via parcel post to save a few bucks. Give it a few more days.

Then it IS able to be tracked. He should have a tracking number. If he doesn't, then I'd request my money back.

That's what he said but you never know. There are only 4 different possibilities:

    1. He never shipped it.
    2. USPS lost it.
    3. He shipped it late.
    4. He shipped it via Parcel Post to save a few dollars.

I'd wait 2-3 more days to rule out #3 and #4 before taking any serious action.

I must have spoiled you with my uber sweet Fed Ex shipping;)

I have found USPS to be very unpredictable and has some of the worst tracking ever, even if you have the number. As mentioned, just hold off a couple days, but feel free to keep persistant with the seller. If you are still in contact with him, its a good sign he isnt trying to swindle you. if he is ignoring you all together, there is always paypal claims to fall back on.

Yeah paypal claim works really well , e.g. in my case I bought a dvd from ebay which turned out to be a fake copy. Made a dispute and had my money back within 24 hours.

    I hate swindlers
