    i saw the trailer and it made it look like the graphics had NOT been updated... which is really poor, since the original was a bit behind when it came out.

    then again, they have time to work on it so it may improve.

    My thoughts exactly too, I hope they improve it and maybe make the graphics run from DirectX 11 if they have the budget to do that.

    first one was fun! in the first hour / 30 mins

    then it was meh!

    lets hope they make this better

    The graphic improvement, does not always mean an advantage, because people who have old graphic cards or other parts of their rig, cannot benefit directly. They even can't open the game!

    I myself know the story for the first one wasn't that great, but it was fun with the stuff you could do such as the attacks, memory collecting and vehicles you could use. I also look forward to using that mini-gun when the second one comes out. :D

    when the first game looked bad, a sequel looking just as bad is unforgivable.


    for the opposite, look at the CoD games. looks good, reused a dozen times and still looks good due to minor upgrades.


    your comment is negated by something we call 'low' settings :p

    I thought the first one looked fine. The second i thought looked a little bit better in the trailer. A game like this doesnt need to be overly pretty imo. Its the gameplay thats the taker.

    Yeah, a game like this doesn't need to look like Metro2033. In fact I thought the first one looked pretty good for what it was and all the was going on on screen.

    But it is the gameplay that matters and what will make this game, and what made the first game, good. And the first one was pretty fun, but after a while it got a little repetitive. Plus the PC version suffered from a horrible bug that dropped the framerate down to the sub-10FPS area after about 10 minutes of play in certain hardware configurations. The only fix was to disable all HID devices in device manager, and they never even bothered patching it to fix the issue and it was pretty wide spread.

    you guys are forgetting that everything had the same models/skins, going into areas where every building looked the same with 500 identical civilians running about 100 identical taxis...

    Ok, show me a game that had 500+ non-identical civilians running around and 100 non-identical civilian vehicles.

    the grand theft auto games did a decent job :p


    thats the problem. either add more skins and models, or have less people. it just looked quite stupid.

    No they didn't, if you jacked up the civilian population it was filled with just as many models as Prototype. Each area had 3-4 car models and 4-5 character skins, with varying colors. In fact you could even take advantage of this by driving a nice car around, and chances are a bunch of that car would spawn around you. It looks rather silly to see 30 lambos parked in the ghetto...

    I didnt pay enough attention to realize the people looked the same. I was either running to fast to look or i killed em.
