PS2 emulator

Is there a PS2 emulator. one were I can play my old games I found? I only want an emulator cause I found some old games I had but dont want to buy a PS2 or 3 just to play them alittle bit.

I hope this isnt against the rules to ask. If so i'm sorry.

i think its something like pcsx2 but make sure and not do anything illegal OK?

yeah google helps when im not being lazy lol. i just got home from work. i have my own games to play but i was thinking can my computer read the disk?

I have Champions of norrath and i want to play it!! lol

well, should be able to but you also have to get a bios which i do beleive is the illegal part.
and then after that you screw with the settings to make it run, and pretty much each game is different for the settings, like some will work with full emulation settings that are supposed to accurately reproduce the effects but then others like gran turismo end up having big blocks for the smoke, which makes you find the right setting that wont block up the smoke. oh and one other thing, LOTS of games barely even work and if they do work they crash, my friend who did this has a 3850 but ran the games like poop.

its better just to get a ps2 from a pawn shop runs and looks alot beter and plays all the games.

i think ill get a PS3 that plays PS2 games once prices drop and people sell them a bit cheaper.

yeah, ive been waiting for it to go below 300 which should be what 2 years away hehe. now dont let me be to misleading there is a compatibility page that they have but as i said not many games are fully compatible, but still worth a look to see if any of yours are on the list.
