Hey guys.

I was just wondering...Would this item be needed to play the PS3 in High Def?

I think any HDMI cable will work.

Any HDMI cable will work.

And if you want to play games in 1080p, both HDMI and Component will display in 1080p. But if you want to watch Blu-Ray in 1080p, then you need HDMI. Component will only play Blu-Ray @ 1080i because of HDCP.

Yes, it will work. But there are much cheaper HDMI cables available, you don't need to pay all that money for one. I got one off ebay for $6 shipped.

It doesn't really matter with HDMI. Back in the analog days Moster was the shit because of their massive amounts of shielding which prevented signal interference. But with HDMI being a digital signal, signal interference is virtually eliminated.

dont waste your money on monster cable. not worth it for hdmi. monster is trying to cash in on the ignorance of consumers breaking into hdtv. dont fall for it!
