    Congratulations qubit.

And thanks for posting something on a SUNDAY! Does this mean, with qubit on-board, we will get weekend news cover? Or is this a one off?

Would be great if you could organise 3 news anchormen to cover the full week, possibly even with each specialising in different parts of the industry, so that they might take a responsibility to snip, clip, edit, comment or redact news pieces rather than what has become quite common... pure copy+paste from press releases.

Many news items are press releases. They need to be "as is" when posted otherwise we would get the natural bias that everyone has when rewriting news articles.
Commentary on speculative items are up to the news poster to spin it however they want.

Yes, I understand you probably have to stick verbatim with official PR or then there might be issues. May I make a suggestion to W1zz to create a [PRCLIP] [/PRCLIP] bbcode that would great a very simple and neat and consistant PR Clip box perhaps with a " (quote) at the start, a slightly shaded background or tabbed text area, and a " (closequote). It would look neat and tidy, and would clearly demark C+P PR from newsman commentary.

When you are on the main site, there is already a "press release" tag on the news articles.

You're welcome. :toast: No, the Sunday posting isn't a one-off. If I spot something in future, I'll post it, whatever day it is.

Note that I would thank your post, but the thanks button has disappeared from everyone's post today for me. It eventually came back a while ago, but disappeared again after the first time I clicked it. Dunno, must be some kind of auto flood control, as I have done a lot of thanking today. :) I have no idea when it will come back.
