Do you think big firms like intel etc..actually look through forums like tpu for information and feedback on there hardware etc from customers/users?? might sound like a daft question but ive wonderd if they just make there own decissions or weather they try to produce stuff influenced through peoples views or demands from what they want from cirtain things??

I just thnk the computing world would be so much better if they actually did.

Sure they do; I'm actually an undercover Intel agent.

Meh; 95 of what's said on forums like this when it comes to hardware is "make it faster."

I mean techpowerup is a huge source of information for us we all love it i just think it would make perfect sence for firms that make the hardware to actually take a look here too see where they are going right and were they are going wrong but i guess TPU is small fry to them or is it??

If they are smart they do. Why not look at the thoughts of your customers when they don't know who you are and can't complain to you.

I wouldn't doubt if they do. I mean they ship ES chips to people here, who are undoubtedly going to report their feedback on the chip. Would only make sense to check up on what the enthusiast consumer thinks

I for one LOVE AMD and or ATI. As a current customer if given the chance I would gladly test out a new product. Its the least I could do for such a great company as AMD/ATI.
