I have 2 copies of this for LAN gaming. Haven't played it forever though.
Not a bad game, especially if it is free. I just bought their newest card ,
they should send me a copy of Black Op's :D

I know a lot of people with the xbox version of the game. The multiplayer maps weren't very large but it was still fun to play. I'm interested to see how well the multiplayer dynamics work with the far more accurate controls of a PC.

I should note that the offer is download only (obviously). In order to download the game it requires a standalone DLM (made by Digital River), which is the same DLM used by a lot of companies. The DLM is around 400KB and the game itself is about 5GB (so nuts to anyone with a 56k!).

If anyone isn't aware, Digital River (unlike Ubisoft), is actually fairly well respected so don't worry about using their DLM (which doesn't install any files aka STANDALONE). I'm more worried about Ubisoft's notorious DRM. :(

It took me around 15 minutes to download the files at around 5MB/s and here they are with md5 hashs:
    Code:

During installation the game will install updates to directx, a C++ runtime and PunkBuster. After installation the game weighs in around 6.7GB.

If you want you can just create an account with fake info and register one of your Sapphire cards to that account. The only problem with doing that is if you try to make a warranty claim on your card they might reject it because you're not living in North America.
