Currently modders are working on a movie project based on the Cryengine 2.

Raining Fire is supposed to become a Science Fiction Mystery movie that is based on the Cryengine 2. At first a 10 minute video will be created. For this purpose the creators are looking for some help.

Up to now there already are some work in progress screenshots and a worth seeing teaser video:

you can see teaser video here

    hmmm....April Fools!

The amount of ridiculous content is really getting retarded. Starting to annoy me.

A couple years ago gamespot posted a preview for World of Starcraft.. People were still thinking it was real like a year later. But I agree, this is getting annoying.. It's still kinda humorous in a way since everyone's doing it!

This is old and not an April Fool - I remember this being mentioned in a few threads, might have even had its own.

Wow, those screens are awesome. I bet it would take forever to render those things.

Hours just to render and compile a few seconds of FMV, if I remember right.

Yeah a few seconds. Or unless they have a batch server to render for them.

they said that it was "aprils fools" cause the first post was on 1st of April and today i didn't want to start new thread about the same subject so I updated the thread with new shots.

    yea agree they're moving slowly.
