I'm wanting to get some new ram with heat covers to overclock my processor. My motherboard says standard memory ddr2 800. says i can also use 667. However, I was just wanting to know if i could use any higher ram than that?

    here is my motherboard:

I would just go with what the memory standard says.

You could get faster memory than that, but you would have to overclock it to that point. There is no guarantee you would or would not make it.

I thought 680i boards unofficially supported 1066 ram, as long as the ram has EPP, and EPP is enabled in the BIOS.
