Just think I run it at a constant 320mhz fsb for 2.5Ghz and 800mhz ram 4-4-4-12. Still gives cdawall's blacky a run for its money.

EDIT 8.5/10 Gam. I like it.

I'm just being picky. I suppose all you need to make it perfect is water cooling, better sound card and a Blue Ray HD Drive.

AMD make a fine processor. funny how when Intel comes out with something omg FASTER all of a sudden people talk about AMD like its junk.

its like a programmer friend told me recently...their is "fast fast fast" and "fast, fast, faster"

it makes little difference to us AMD owners who are happy with fast fast fast...

nice system above (from the quoted. Hat has no system :( ), HD is painfully small, vid card is decent but could use a little upgrade (unless its AGP in which case i'm not sure an upgrade is available)

    7/10

    wait what happened? :(

i know. i was agreeing with and pondering your profoundly accurate post when i posted myself.

i saw your " they are both good AMD rigs :rockout: " comment and thought "yeah wtf AMD is rockin"

so i quoted your post and started my pro AMD rant thinking 'this guy is right on the money'

    :toast:

and thanks for being kind to my 'puter. yeah the PS, i'll get around to it. still might overclock the proc....but its fine the way it is actually and you can only pull so much blood from this stone, anyway.

i have to agree here. P4's are massively disadvantaged. I've seen performance boosts going from a 3.4GHz presler OC'd to 4GHz, to a 2GHz allendale. (2MB cache)... so in comparison to a P4, any core 2 duo has very good odds of raping it.

The E1200 he runs is at 2.5GHz which would make up for the less cache, so... yeah. id be surprised if his celeron ISNT faster.
