    10/10 with the 280 :rockout:

Rate my friends rig. We traded rigs for the week so we can see how different AMD and Intel rigs work :)

8.5/10 for northern. Very solid machine, no real flaws. 9.0/10 when then GTX 280 arrives.

8.5/10 :toast: for using the bigscreen TV as your monitor. I had the same idea and it is awesome to play games on.

firstly, just want to say i agree with your rating. My system is only better than yours in the amount of ram and screen size - everything else its slightly behind.

Secondly, hell yeah. most people just whine that the res is too low, but you sure as heck dont see it (or care) when gaming on such large screens.

Yeah that res looks pretty decent too me sitting about six feet away. I can also crank AA and AF with virtually no performance decrease and it looks smooth as glass. Especially when I run TF2 at 8x AA and 16x AF with an average framerate well beyond 150fps

Damn your screen is a whole 3" bigger than mine.

its something else to play games filling your whole field of vision at a smooth 100FPS (an OC'd 8800GT handles that res with ease) with a surround sound setup that shakes the windows.

Those poor people with 15-19" LCD's and tinny 2.0 speakers... *sob* you poor, poor people.
