I don't know if i read it right but it seems like you are being a smart ass in that post... All i was saying is that in AM3 my volt modded 7900GS still scores a little higher(not much) that is if your sig is correct. I score a little over 111k with what is in my system specs. If you look a few post up you will find my score.I am not sure if it is the 111k or the 110k

Not bad at all. A very well matched system. Not top of the line, but nowhere near the bottom either.

    I'll have to say 7/10.

Upping the ram to 2GB, and overclocking more, would get you a little more.

8/10 for a solid rig that can still play most everything.

9/10 for JC136. That 8600gts might be as fast as a stock 8800gts... probably not though

I like the OC, and I like how you are using stuff that any-more isn't considered mid-range or suggested for purchases to new users asking for purchase suggestions, yet you're showing that your hardware can still get the job done! Bummber bout the SB Live!, hell I saw a bunch on Ebay and some distributors for $5-15, before shipping. I just got an SB X-Fi XtremeMusic, it's amazing compared to my Onboard Soundmax, KTR found me a link to Fry's where it only cost ~$70. But you should really get some more RAM, I think that'd be a good thing for your system. :toast:

Also had to post, last time I posted and got rated here, I didn't have the sound card, widescreen monitor, and I had a lower OC. I've got 3.5 on my 6300 with nice temps for air. :rockout:

By FSB I thought you ment (FSB)(MULTI)=SPEED, not the quad-pumped result of the (FSB)(MULTI) FSB...

How did you get a multi of 23? I'ts not an Extreme is it?

    No, it's stock fsb is 133Mhz (533Mhz in Intel speak. lol), and it's a 3.06GHz cpu. 3060/23=133(ish)
