as already said netburst(!!) and x1650xt good enough to play for the moment at least in medium qualitysettings...for upcoming highend games you´ll have to upgrade your rig...seriously

Alright, it's halftime of the Cleveland vs Detroit NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS GAME 6 so I thought I'd pop my head in...

    Score : 7.5

Good : Nice OC on that single core, Corsair XMS Memory, ENERMAX PSU!!!

Bad : 17" monitor, A sound card that just might be below specs/quality of newer, more modern high def onboard sound!

Other : Respectable video card. Only 1GB of memory and a single core? I guess thats still good enough for most things these days but with quad being an affordable reality just around the corner...

P.S - Please be gentle with my HTPC! It's not meant to be an uber gaming setup but a small, quiet yet quite capable home theater system with a decent gaming potential.

omg thank you!! the ONLY reason im using that sound blaster is because the karajan module wont fit with my 120 mm fan. i'll soon be upgrading to dual core and 2 gigs of memory. i havent done any hardware upgrades other than a mobo RMA since last august, so an overhaul is needed.

    your rig: 8/10

good cpu OC, love the AMD's
overall good, how does that vid card perform?

I would actually prefer the sound blaster over the karajan if you can get the drivers to behave.

I actually don't have problems with the drivers, it's the card itself. I pulled it out of a super old Dell. It makes crackling noises sometimes and ppl complain about odd noises and such coming over vent all the time.
