Awesome monitors, amazing CPU and GPU. Good amount of RAM and very large storage space.

quad core doesnt bottleneck any less. you just need MOAR CLOCKS, just like i do.

i went 3.6GHz quad to 3.8GHz dual... and stuff got faster. i guess ATI drivers arent optimised for quads.

I agree I could use a better PSU. The IDE is a throwback, I Didn't feel like installing windows on my raid array.

As for the motherboard... since when is a 1 year old mother board "old"? It's an AM2+ Board with HT 3.0, PCIe 2.0 and perfectly well supports the top of the line Phenom II processors. The only newer series of boards are the AM3's that use DDR3 and I'm sorry I'm not going to trash 8 GB of perfectly good memory just so I can switch to DDR3.

Everything high end, what i need to say ?? Nice CPU and a even better CPU Oc result. The 4870x2 is the current best single card solution. Maybe 2x500gb Hard drives in raid 0 would do better but we all know it is a minor issue... 9.5 out 10. Congratulations

7.5/10, nice older machine. I would have given you a much worse score if not for the 4980 :p

Can't fault anything really. As long as 3gig of ram is enough for you, 10/10 ;)

Awesome clocks on that cpu too!

im running 5gb, just not in the specs :toast: got a corsair dual channel kit in there too!

9.5/10 for you, although 8800 is still great, a better card will rock in your rig :rockout:

not sure, CPUz says it does. A GTX 260 in your rig would make it a 10 in my eyes :toast:

and you guys know what Cygnus is right? The constellation that Deneb is from, which is the core of the 45nm AMD Phenom II's. I thought it was pretty clever ;)
