the monitor is fine for my needs but i will upgrade it someday to a LCD. The videocard with the overclock it keeps up with alot of the 4830/4850s so that isn't really a problem for me. The HDDs i plan to get a SSD when prices get better and picking up atleast 1 more 80gb and putting them in RAID 0.The SSD would be used for OS the HDDS would be used for games. The space on the network drives would be used for downloads, music, pics etc things where speed isn't really needed.

I give you 8.5/10 not much better then my rig.

I would assume putting your OS on an SSD would give faster boot times?

Only problem is SSDs are very expensive. A good 120GB SSD is like $300?

right now that is true.that is why i want to wait for awhile. I wouldn't get anything that big i would get like a 30gb or 60gb something along those lines. Depends on what OS(s) i want to run. But like i said i am going to wait till prices come down

If I were you, I'd actually just save a little longer, and buy a larger capacity SSD, and install your games to it as well as Windows. Just skip grabbing the second 80GB hard drive altogether. Hell, a single platter 320GB hard drive might outdo an 80GBx2 RAID0.

I had a 19" Compaq CRT that came with my 1st PC, a Presario 4540 something or other. That was a really nice monitor, beautiful picture, but it was enormous and weighed a ton. Couldn't sell it so had to give it away.

    6/10...5/10

    Dieselcat18, I rate you a 9.5/10

You lose a touch since the 5k series just came out :p

Care to rate mine? Upgraded the watercooling loop with a Heatkiller 3.0 + backplate, and the rad got upgraded to a 120.3 :D

Thxxx for the rating, though it's a bit high imo...

Your system is awesome !....and deserves a near perfect score....lets just say 10/10... though if I had to take anything away, it would be for on-board sound. I think you achieved really nice balance in selecting all your components and it looks like it really can kick some serious A**....great job and love the SIG....:toast:

I don't need alot of ram. I need FAST ram to help with the low cache. Got the Tracers from Jbunch07, he just gave em to me. :)

Think you can help me find a 2x2 I can run along side them?
