Lol MM's school is payed for and im building my own house but i will not sell my pc. If i did then that would mean me and her spent 3 months in a tent for nothing. Besides id have to just spend the money to get new parts later anyways. Ill skip the middle man

Thanks, your system was win till the WC trauma. Dont feel bad man, my 280 went that way and it was the last one. ALSO i can only run in single channel ram with my i5 because of water cooling. Hence why all my gear is in my FS thread.

my pc would be better with something more powerful than a 4850

Yeah a :nutkick: from the computer Gods. If I'm lucky I can RMA it, if not I wait a few weeks till I have some money again... but this time the i7 gets air. I won't let that happen again.

you get an extra plus for having a voodoo 2, my first ever "3d" capable GPU.
what does it exactly do? or is it just for backup? the voodoo 2 that is.

Quite a mixed rig you have there, I'm sure you know what could do with an upgrade so won't bother saying XD

    5.5 out of ten.

Could easily be changed to 8 with a couple of cheap changes though!

i know, it gives me a somewhat large yet lopsided e-peen. its mostly for future proofing and ill hopefully have the ££ for a new cpu, gpu, ram and mobo in summer. thinking of going i7 with a 5870.

8/10. whats the oc on your xeon? and seeing as essex has similar weather to london in the winter, how much do winter temps help you oc?
i oppologize for having 2 questions per a post.
    pantherx12 says thanks.

The Q6600 is a great CPU, especially when OC'ed. The rest of the system is pretty subpar, but i gave you that score since i really don't know what you use that machine for. For web surfing and Microsoft Office, its probably perfect.

My system is currently moving to the Core i7 platform, i already have the motherboard, but its going to be a long while till i get the CPU and RAM.:(
