    it works out well really, cause it makes gaming on the media PC (which uses the 40" more) far easier (8600GT for the spare card), and it stretches SD content less so it looks less nasty.


    sooooo much of my anime and early TV show rips is nauseating on the 23.6", but fine on the 40" due to less stretching (yeah you'd think bigger pixels would look worse, but the lower native res helps)

    Ohhh yah! Was gaming myself at 1360x768 (only res between 1280x720 and 1080p) when I was on the 9600GT. Only reason I got the 4870 is because im planning on moving to 22" 1080p.

    7.5/10 POSPC. You get points for the highly clocked i7, but lose some for the smallish LCD, older video card, and lowish amount of memory.

    would like to see a bigger screen with such a beast of a GPU

    as for 4ghz my CPU will do it but it takes more voltage and i want to keep the heat dumped into the room lower because it crunches 24/7 and gets bloody hot in here.
