on that strange bios i see no why to do that!
Sorry, i don;t know enough about AMD systems to give you a proper rating. but i'd guess around 9.5/10, it looks like you have some very nice components.
to overclock a laptop you need to do it by software, there is a thread in the overclocking section of the forums outlining the basics.
that's nice.. thanks mate!!! i really do not know that oc on notebooks is done via sw!!! i'll check out the 3d!
btw ... i've changed my rig, i've got to update it!
8.5 for you sistem, i love the v8!! and we have the same audio card
In my opinion it isn;t really worth overclocking a lappy unless you use it as a main machine. Laptop cooling ain't that great and it significantly reduces battery life.
I overclock the graphics card in mine for playing games on the go. but i haven't touched the CPU. I may do in the future, just to see if i can do it.
Some AMD systems can be setup with profiles so when it is plugged into the mains, it runs overclocked, but on batteries it runs underclocked and undervolted (for extended battery life) This seems really interesting, but i don;t think it's possible with my i3 or any intel based systems. I need to do more research into the subject.
9/10, your CM 690 case does you well, shame on your for such a low clock speed on that CPU, LOL
Cheers to peps for a 9/10 and a somewhat similar rig to mine.
That is still a kickass s775 rig. I like it alot ... 8/10
8/10 that old 790X needs a 890GX replacement
Awaiting for am3+ bruddah.
CDA: 8/10 Vidcard could use an update.
(Mine as well, gettin an 6950 tomorrow and my RMA WD back and the CM 690 II Advanced)
Not to many cards that are low power single slot and faster than the 9800gt eco@gt clocks
8/10 it looks good for budget system
8/10 need more overclock
6 out of 10 for the hardware 7.5 out of ten for overclocks!
Including the projector you get an 8 from me though, would love one myself.
8 of 10
Did you copy my system?
^gR3iF... 8.25/10...solid system...nice gpu.
By god a gemini ii I had one of those on my s754 and first am2 before I swapped to water the first time
It doesn't perform to badly with a single 140mm fan and the unncesscery crossbars removed : ]
Don't go over 45c underload (i've adjusted coretemp to read the cores 12c above normal as when overclocking these 6cores temp reading bugger up)
it did pretty good for me to but i had 2x120s
Whoooo hoooooo rate me! I got some new junk!
9/10. Needs more GPU power!
I got new toys too. Ones that bring 5670x1080 res
a perfect 10
Nothing much you could improve on that system. i am envious.
Got me some new toys as well!
8/10. Mainly for the i5.
Rate mine. New parts
