Awesome overclock on that phenom, can you run it at that speed all year round?
Nice video card, i would have given you 9.5 but the latest 69xx series are a bit faster.

Still a 9/10 for you in terms of gaming Mussels, pretty much the same gaming experience you'd get from my system

    i agree with that 100%

@Silk 7/10. CPU is the weakest point but still isn't bad. I know i could game on the E2140@2.7ghz decently so i'm sure your cpu does fine.

Thanks, yea i would love to get a SB i5, but it would cost too much to upgrade the mobo + ram + cpu. The cpu will take any game i throw at it and afaict it isn't causing any bottlenecks. I'm actually considering trying to switch to a CF mobo and getting a second 6850.

7.5/10 you have to crank that overclock on the 8400 up some more, you should easily be able to get 4ghz at more or less stock voltage on that thing, you might have to bring the ram speed down a little tho, i know that that is the weakest point on my OC at least.

What you really need is a better graphics card, nevermind the RAM, unless you work more than you play games. Also, better/powerful PSU.

I thought you had a 1024*768 monitor? I probably misrembered...
And you're right, if it works fine with that screen, there is no reason to switch to another GPU.

(I'm rating your main righ here)

I'm not much of an expert in the AMD field, I do like the two 4870X2s tho. The 4 series still kick ass. And the Raptor is cool. BUT whats up with the cooling?

    So I guess a 7. Solid rig.

Haha, I did not notice that!

8/10, great OC, I like the graphics cooling (I read your topic about it when you posted it), and let's ignore the PSU for the rating b/c you sort of had to satisfy yourself with "less" as you said before. ;)

8/10. Needs a better CPU and a better monitor, IMHO. It also needs to be clocked.

I'll catch up on overclocking soon enough. The onboard sound doesn't bother me as the sound is routed via an amp to some killer speakers, I see no need for a soundcard; the benefits would be inaudible.

For BluRay theres my PS3 and the laptop, no need for that either ;)
