7/10, nice media/workstation laptop, definitively digging the 16gb of ram on a laptop. What kind of resolution do you have on that display?

8.5/10. Cfx that card and you'd have >9/10 system. :)

I'm planning to cfx, but only when i get a 2nd/bigger monitor. Atm it handles everything i throw at it with ultra settings and reasonable AA. one of the benefits of only having a 1440x900 display :)

oh dear... I normally try to fail people on this and mark them down for anything... but seriously... epic system is epic. 9.5/10 and that's only because I'm an AMD fanboy

It's great although showing it's age after 4 years was well worth the $700 i got it for though. Today i don't know which one i would get and as long as this is running i can wait :). But the ones that normally look better are ones with a very glossy screen and that's bad for me

    Heh, I will too!

    Everyone starts with a 10!

    10
-0.5 # No motherboard model stated, I liked my MSI board ages ago though.
-1.0 # No case name listed, what is there speaks for itself I guess?
0 # Cooler is low-profile, is it in a small case?
-2.0 # 2Gb of memory is just keeping you afloat.
+0.5 # An SSD will make slow systems fast very easily, smart move.
-1.0 # 64gb leaves you hardly any disk space.
-1.0 # Little system memory + little drive space (and only an SSD) = Quick death of your SSD.
0 # PSU is adequate and good but it is most definitely over-adequate.
    ========
    5.0 / 10.0

Not bad, it might suit your needs well but I see ordinary tasks filling memory and using your SSD with a page file will just kill your SSD more quickly.

    Cuzza and Mussels say thanks.

Aquinus, FYI, that rig was thrown together from bits just so I could fold on the GTX285. 2gb of ram is adequate. SSD has OS + F@H + not much else on it, so I'm not worried.

Not that I disagree with your assessment, it's an unbalanced monster for sure!

I'm not rating in this post. Next poster, do the guy above me plz.
