7/10 for the laptop a bit weak on the graphics side, 5/10 for the desktop really starting to show its age.

nothing wrong with it being old, so long as it still serves the purpose you built it for, though as far as upgrades go. It would be pointless getting 1066Mhz DDR2 ram and a uber powerful GPU for that setup but theres still quite a bit of life left in it just yet. Its probably a decent system for older games like L4D, teamfortress 2 and CS:S

I built it just for playing standard MOBA games like dota2 and hon actually,
and some online RPG games lol.
and it's still plenty fast to play NFS MW at max.

for on the system above me,
7.8/10, would get 8.2 if you change the HSF, but i think it's enough lol
    red_stapler says thanks.

    It's not an unlocked chip

8/10 pretty much the best of the last batch of chips.

    Nicely balanced.

So i am in the process of upgrading my PC and waiting for the new Intel Chips to come out. In the meantime i bought a 670 as an upgrade from my 8800GTS 512.
I was wondering if i should go with the i5 3570K or just wait it out a little more.
Also are the closed loop water coolers any good than regular air?
    de.das.dude says thanks.

5/10 until you upgrade CPU :D

IMHO a 3570K should be good for a while still. One of the larger closed loop coolers will be good, like H110 or H100i etc.
