Sometimes some chips just don't like going any further.. my old 3800+ x2 didn't wanna go any higher than 2.65.. As for the Dell, you'll still have all Dell branded parts inside, but its still a nice lappy. I just picked up an ASUS G1... SICK :D

Very weird...you've got old parts in a crazy new case (with 2x250mm fans no less!)

And what's with the sold to taz/tax thing?

Anyways, 4/10 for the weirdness :p

-1.5points, Thermaltake PSU, and a Dell LCD.

    8.5!

Also, I just ordered a Lin-Li PC-7A, Thermal right XP-90C, and a few other goodies, so I'll be rebuilding my A64 system this week. Spec's added.

Its TCC5! Don't knock it because its rated Pc3200!

I just don't need to buy higher rated stuff to obtain the same overclock most people do. Defeats the purpose imo. (Its not overclocking otherwise!)

    Also, the x850xt was $45 ;)

I also use the Live card, because its the only card with decent windows XP drivers. Everything else... just sucks.

Keep in mind, Its been sitting in my closet collecting dust for almost a year now :p

foxconn1115: I give you an 8.5/10 - your system is about as beefy as you can get on AMD - well done.

    rate my sys?

anyway, i have had _exesive_ problems with drivers, this on an nforce4 chipset. plus, i dont liek the fact that o nthe nforce4 onboard sound, the rear sound is disabled if the front sound is hooked up. i just never liked them. all other (exept some) chipsets are fine by me. even the dreaded via chipsets, which (the newer ones) i knind-of like, i mean, they run really cool, and they handle everythign i chuck at them.

those were more problems with the onboard audio... which differed board to board.
Hell, one of my AM2 systems here is running NF4... i've even had 754 boards on NF4. Many flavours of Nvidia ;) - it really comes down to whats packaged with it on the mobo.

I have an nForce4 AM2 board and have no issues either. It can do 342HT, and it only cost $80. I don't use the onbaord sound tho, I have an Audigy2 instead. I hate onboard sound.

    8.5/10 for you Mussels.

Deducted some for the Chimei moitor. No offense intended, but they're a bit of a generic brand. And also because I think your top notch components deserve a better case.

Added points back for actually using an OS that allows you to use all 4 gigs of ram, and for having the balls to make it Vista. lol

lol. The chimeis actually really good - bought it for my media PC, but couldnt resist bringing it across.

Also, the P150 is a better case than people realise. Mine has 2x92mm intakes and 1x120mm intake, 1x120mm exhaust and 1x120mm out via the PSU.

So really, its silent, well cooled... and doesnt weigh 3 tons for when i carry it to a lan every saturday :D

Oh and yeah, i like vista. Turn a few of the new features off, and it runs nicely.

Hmm as for your rig - 7.5/10. CPU is definately a good OC, watercooling seems good too. Samsung monitor good, but low res! arrgh! 19"'ers shouldnt be widescreen. Balls for going the 2900XT, even tho its a power whore and not as fast as the competition.

Pat yourself on the back, you actually got lucky. I've known 3 different people that bought them, and they all had them crap out in weeks.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad case. I'm just saying that your components deserve a really killer case. lol

Ditto. I'm actually running Longhorn Beta right now, and I like it even more.

Thanx. Desk space and budget dictated the need for a 19", and widescreen is the only way I'll go. Wish they made 19" with 1680x1050, tho. lol

    Yet! lol
