I have an Asus Gtx 770oc and my friend wanna change his card to my card .. his card is gtx 770 reference card

may i know what kind different for the both cards

Without any additional info, I wouldn't swap out your OC'd card with a better cooler (as far as I know) for a reference card. Unless you need a reference card for a specific reason, I'd go for keeping your card

So your friend has a very rare 770 reference card with the blower cooler and metal housing? If so, he should just keep it.

I say this because my former 780 had one, and it was a fantastic cooling solution. the 780 rarely, with a good fan curve, got above 55C! And even when it got to 70-75% fan speed, I still didn't hear it over case fans, because it's actually a quality blower fan.

I believe the metal type blower is more than adequate for the 770.

Yep, that's what I figured he had. That heatsink and fan are actually up to the task for that card. It's really only above GTX 780 level that it is no longer good enough.

Is THIS http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_770_Direct_Cu_II_OC/ what you have? If so, no. You have the better card I believe, and better cooling.

Why does he want to change cards? They will perform virtually the same. I see no benefit unless one has something wrong.

Not to be rude, but something seems amiss here to me. How well do you know your friend?

Is your friend trying tonswitch cards with you? If he is, then I think he thinks your card is better. I wouldn't do it.

Or is he trying to have hia card with a cooler like yours? If that is what he wants, then there is no need. His card and cooler are perfectly good.

I'm sorry I had to post both answers, since I am not completely understanding what your feiend wants.

It's not only better but it should also have more longevity (your asus card) compared to his reference card, so yeah keep yours
