Hello, I am planning on getting an MSI 6600gt and on newegg.com I saw that they have refurbished ones for 40$ less. I was wondering if I should get a refurbished one, unless theres a chance that it will break. What should I do?

Refurbished means simply a new cooler and testing for those 6600GT's.
Not much more chance that it will break than when you would buy a brand new-one...
Don't know what the offer you as warranty tho...
--> and it could be an older hardware revision (some of them ran really hot, exactly the reason why I switched over to ATi again)

It it is a refurb then there shouldnt be anything wrong with it. Someoene might not have been happy with how much it OC'd and RMA'd it.
