Replacement microswitches for mouse

I'm a big fan of the Microsoft Wheelmouse Optical shown below and have several of them. Alas, the microswitches are beginning to die due to age and use. These mice are discontinued now, so they're not available widely or at decent prices any more, so does anyone know where I can get the proper spare switches to solder on?

I live in the UK.

If you have several of them not one of the switches of the others can be used ?, you sure it's the switches ?. I find that it's either a little fragments of plastic that get around the switch which some isopropyl helps. But more commonly the plastic that pushes against the switch gets indented there fore ending in bad contact.

Only 1 i could find available to us and seems to be not available to Amazon.co.uk

ebay sells Omrons in like 10 packs and most ship from China, so you will likely find the listings I am seeing.

Microsoft does not make their own mice or keyboards (and never has). I don't know who the OEM is, but I agree, they typically are good stuff.

My point is, while you may not be able to find the "Microsoft" Wheelmouse Optical, judicial hunting may yield BrandXYZ Wheelmouse Optical at decent prices.

The problem with disassembling these things is typically, the little tabs that snap together and hold the case together are made to snap in place once. So even if you find the correct switches, there is no guarantee the case will go back together properly, and stay together. Not to mention with the correct positioning of the return spring or tension arms (whatever it uses to let the buttons bounce back).

Well... use the proper source... take it apart and see exactly what kind of pin arragment you need. You must look at the PCB traces.
