Exsqueese me? Do you mean when someone simply replies to a post saying "Reported"? Or something else?

The new advantage of being a news poster!

Still confused as to what you're trying to ask though...

I think Zek was just checking that people couldn't see those posts - the reports have been updated, they didn't use to work quite the same way so he was probably just worried it might not be working properly!

OH thats why. But shouldn't mods send the messages to the mods and not in the post section?

Oh alright they are normaly not visable to us?

So you can read that thread, technicks?

The post section is in the moderator section of the forums, so that every moderator can read it, instead of just the moderators who subscribed to certain forums.

Old post report system: Moderators assigned forums, they get e-mailed post reports, fix them at their leisure. No supermod/admin notification.

New post report system: Post reports emailed to assigned moderators, and then posted in the new reported post section. Every (super)mod and admin can deal with it at their leisure.

Still not totally sure what you mean - can you see something that you should be able to? If you can, post a link so that the mods can take a look.

Ok... so what was your reason for starting this thread? I'm not grasping this at all - anyone else feeling the same or am I missing something?

Ok, I get it - you mean the sections that show the latest posts on the front page and the at the top left of the forums list? W1zz will have to sort that I think... now things seem a bit clearer :D

Edit: just out of interest, do they appear on both the homepage and the main page of the forums?

I believe this is a permissions thing thats easily fixed by wizz if not already.

    theres levels...

    MOD level
    USER level
    ADMIN level

But you can set seperate viewable levels for each forum, in example, have a forum viewable by USERS but only postable/modifiable by mods/admins.

I believe he was SEEING the forum on the *list*, but click, BAM! you don't have permission to view this.

    ;)

Just have to take the forum off the viewable list in the second location. (theres an "able to view" and "can see it on the list but not view")

Well W1zz hasn't been online for most of today so I'm not sure if he's fixed it - more likely it's just fallen off the bottom of the list. As long as someone mentions it to him when he's next online, he probably just forgot to change the permissions when he made the reports section. Nothing too big - at least it's cleared up now :D
