They finally went back to their roots and I am in love with this game. I am amazed they released it for such a reasonable price..
The game is so much fun. It is such a throw back to old RE games. The color palettes are old school and creepy.
    The graphics are nice.
It feels like being in the mansion all over again from RE1.
I could not be happier with the outcome..

If you have the open mic problem. Just set your windows default "Communication" audio device to something that is NOT in use or does not work. That will effectively disable in game voice.

Then you can use something like teamspeak or vent to talk with people, just by choosing the audio device, you actually want to use for voice.

    Enjoy. :)

yeah i like it as well, those pressing sequences are ok too - i saw a lot of bitching becuase of this but imo it raises the tension even more., atmosphere is dark and creepy.

Coop & MP is cool too, i played 1st chapter for over 2hrs, it looks like a very long game :)

Monsters are very detailed, characters too, the only thing that's kinda crappy is certain wall/objects textures (floor textures/reflections are fine)., other then that top notch game :rockout:

I didn't know sweetfx was already on this. Looks like I have something new to install. :p.
Watch capcom come along this week and do the same thing, only official, breaking the sweetfx..lol..

Honestly though it seems like what Sweetfx does, I can do with my nvidia control panel.
    Digital vibrance up, contrast maxed.
Play with gamma and brightness a bit. I don't see much of a difference in screen shot comparisons.

Sweetfx seems to do a lot of things, people could just do themselves.

I use it mostly for sharpening, it kinda "enhances" that lower texture resolution by certain objects/walls.

I kept color vibrance to minimum, also SMAA looks a little better then ingame FXAA3HQ. Nvidia disabled driver FXAA for this game otherwise i would use that :)

I've had this for the PS3 since it released. I've not been impressed with it at all. Graphics are weak, everything is so dark its hard to see any sort of detail thats actually there if it is there.

Why does it have to be night all the time? Anyways I loved RE4 and 5 but I'm left wanting in RE6.

And comparing 6 to the original makes me want to slap the shit out of you. lol

it does look not so good on ps3(but most games multi-console games look worse on ps3) but it does look better on pc, its just the textures look bad on pc, graphics aside, leons chapters do feel pretty good, albeit linear but I agree, you can't compare this game to 1 2 3(uhhhh yea) 4 or 5, (and no im not gonna include the side story's) it feels like 3 different games in one and one of those games is terrible, most of the time I just felt placid playing it.

I don't get the bad press that this game receives. I thought it was a pretty good zombie shooter but my friend flat out refused to play it. Certainly a hell-uva lot better than Dead Island. Let me tell you..
