    b85 is out.....but clean install is recommended, and reading install details is important, but hey, I did it and I'm near useless.
    Now we're getting somewhere, still not perfect, but a big step over b69.

    It will run fine in your PC, on medium settings some, like car detail, on max.

    rf2 looks pretty good overall, the tracking rubbering is cool, and the detail and gloss of the cars is impressive, in fact, I think this probably looks better than F1 2011, although rf2 does seem to lack some colour, but it's still a WIP.

    Nice, whilst online, if a server has a mod you don't you're greeted with a dl option and rf2 dls and installs the mod in one hit, so I got myself a 80's F1 car.

    The 2 best sims at the moment are GSC 2012 and rf2.
    GSC feels a bit tighter and more clinical compared to the hyper involving rf2, but no sim works better out the box with my G27 than GSC 2012.....rf2 needs some fine tuning of the ini files to bring down the excessive FFB effects, and once done, is a real champ.

    {duplicate post I made in the GSC thread=socially acceptable spam:toast:}

    Weirdly I play better with a X360 controller than my G27 but the wheel is more fun

    G27's don't play nicely with rf2 lately....there's FFB issues that are yet to be resolved.

    Seems like my old PC was holding me back at bit, so now rf2 overall is driving at the top level.
    There's still a number of issues to resolve, but I think for any G27 owner with a powerful system, you should go ahead and buy the beta.

    ISI seem inconsistent with some of their cars, but the best cars drive so well it's not funny, and FFB is without doubt the best on the market{weight+detail}

    You also have user controller track conditions, ie, rubbering in, and when heavily rubbered, grip levels are literally 25-30% more.....the rubbering in process also looks pretty good as well, much better with GFX maxed.

    Not unless a modder specifically makes a package, however, rf1 tracks look like crap compared to rf2 originals.
    I think someone did Mugello and it was tragic.

    There's probably at least 25 tracks available right now.
    Hybrid_theory says thanks.

    Thanks. The track I linked is about an hour drive from where i live. I tried out the track in a little sim setup at an auto show last weekend. asked what the software was and they said rfactor and that you could get it on their site. Just id rather get the 2nd one and have the track work.

    time to think about it for now anyway. ssd died in my desktop :(

    Car porn :D

    Seriously though, almost every simbin game has been legendary. GTL and GTR2 are awesome and I have high hopes for rFactor2.

    I see some videos on youtube and the graphics to me look nice. Either I'm too used to playing Screamer 2 in dosbox, or I just have low standards. Because everyone is saying it's ugly :laugh:
