I have the SAS controller mentioned in the title connected to two Hitachi 15K SAS drives in RAID 0. My system works fine except for one irritating problem. When I start it up I get an error message from the SAS controller saying that the RAID is disabled. When I check the drive status one of them is not recognized (one one instance it did not recognize both). All I do is after seeing this message is a Ctrl+Alt+Delete and the system then recognizes the array and boots fine. Can anyone give me an idea as to what may be causing this. I have been looking for bios updates for the controller but Version1.3 which i have is the latest. I'll also forward this to Highpoint's tech support but will be grateful if anyone can offer a fix. Thanks guys.
